Hong Kong’s renowned culinary platform restaurant, Test Kitchen will play host to KU DE TA Bali from 7 until 11 March, as Executive Chef Benjamin Cross and Head Chef Stephen Moore provide guests with a tasting menu showcasing their collective approach to contemporary cuisine in Asia.

Test Kitchen is a unique dining experience that brings together up and coming chefs from around the globe to a dedicated dining space founded by Vincent Mui. Chefs Cross and Moore will be applying their innovative culinary techniques to locally-sourced ingredients and flavours, bringing some of the tastes, techniques and ingredients which have made KU DE TA a must-visit for discerning diners in Bali.

Vincent Mui, founder and owner of Test Kitchen, explains: “We’ve had a blockbuster start to 2018 and Ben and Stephen are hugely exciting additions to our line-up of chefs. KU DE TA are well-known and respected across Asia for their exciting, innovative dishes celebrating the best flavours of our region and we can’t wait to have them join us at Test Kitchen. Diners can expect craft, finesse and bags of flavour in every beautifully-plated dish across this incredibly enticing menu.”

2018 marks the third year of bringing chefs from around the world, offering Hong Kong foodies global culinary experiences within their own city in the process.

Executive Chef Ben Cross commented “Whilst we have always hosted guest chef dinners at Mejekawi before, last year we formalised it into a series which could act as a platform for like-minded restaurants and chefs to collaborate. We have been lucky enough to host many great chefs in Bali and this year will see us visit them in their cities, starting with Test Kitchen in Hong Kong. We can’t wait.”

tuna + burnt eggplant + daikon + toasted nori
scallop + xo + fregola + pancetta + butter
black cod + chilli paste
wagyu strip loin + enoki remoulade salad + mushroom puree + broth
